A typical early evening shoot is as follows:
Meet at our shooting lodge, Birch Hall, for a health and safety talk, gun instruction if necessary and draw numbers
First drive: something gentle and fun to get the eye in
Second drive: challenging partridges over hedges
A quick break for drinks
Third drive: mixed high pheasants and partridges
